- This paper reviews academic and trade literature on the concept of trust, in particular as it relates to the effective practice of public relations. It explores existing research to teach us about how to develop, foster and maintain trust.

Have You Seen Bled?- The 2008 BledCom symposium takes place on July 4-5 in Slovenia. Surrounded by Lake Bled, scholars and practitioners will re-examine the public relations and marketing relationship, and the role of public relations as a key management function.
- EUPRERA 2008 Congress Open for Registration
- The event takes place in Milan October 16-18, 2008, organized by EUPRERA, Ferpi and IULM University. The Commission on Global PR Research will present a special award funded by the Institute.
- Institute and AMEC To Create European Summit on Measurement in 2009
- The Institute for Public Relations has announced it will partner with the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) to run the first European Summit on Measurement, in mainland Europe in June 2009.
- EKP Expands
- The Essential Knowledge Project, a practitioner's online guide to existing research-based knowledge in public relations, aims to publish 15 additional topics this year .
- Jack Felton Golden Ruler Award Open for Entry
