Schedule, Venue and Accommodations

The 16th Annual Public Relations Executive Forum, cosponsored by the Institute for Public Relations and the Arthur W. Page Society will be held at The Chicago Club, 81 East Van Buren Street, Chicago, Illinois 60605.

The program begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 with the first learning session followed by a networking reception. Thursday's schedule starts with a networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m., includes morning and afternoon programming sessions, a networking lunch and an early evening networking reception. Friday's agenda includes a networking breakfast and lunch plus program sessions during the morning and early afternoon with adjournment no later than 2 p.m.

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at The Chicago Club for Executive Forum registrants. These vary from small rooms with twin size beds and courtyard views that cost $140 plus tax per night to large rooms with king size beds and views of Lake Michigan that are $240 plus tax per night. These reservations are on a first come availability, can be paid for by individual credit cards and can be made by calling The Chicago Club at 312-427-1825.

Please note those who make sleeping room accommodations at The Chicago Club will need to respect the club's restrictions regarding cell phone use in public areas and also will be subject to fairly strict cancellation charges within 21 days of our event. Those who cancel within 14 to 20 days will incur a 25% charge of total room revenue, those who give 7-13 days notice will incur a 50% charge and those who cancel within six days or left will incur a 75% charge.

For those who prefer staying in a more traditional, full-service hotel, a block of rooms has been secured three blocks away at The Hilton - Chicago, 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60605. Hilton reservations can be made by calling either 877-865-5320 or 312-922-4400. The nightly room rate for this block is $329 plus tax (the regular rate is $460). To get the $329 rate tell them you are part of the Abbott/Public Affairs Group.
