Dr. Lynne Sallot is professor of public relations at the University of Georgia. Her central research theme, "Connecting Theory with Research, Teaching, and Practice," focuses on theory development and application.

In 2007, Sallot received PRSA's Outstanding Educator Award, and in 2008 she was honored with the University of Georgia's highest teaching award, the Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professorship.
