BledCom Special Prize
The IPR Global Commission supports and promotes research that expands management tools by which organizations can more effectively execute their global public relations programs. Any paper accepted by the BledCom Symposium is eligible for the special prize.
Institute Special Award at EUPRERA Annual Congress
This 500 Euro prize for the best new research in a selected area of international public relations is awarded at the EUPRERA (European Association for Public Relations Research & Education) Annual Congress.
Jack Felton Golden Ruler Award
This award recognizes excellent public relations research and measurement as an integral part of public relations practice. Entries are sought from the four pillars of public relations measurement – Client, Counseling, Research Provider, and Academic. The award is bestowed by the Commission on Public Relations Measurement and Evaluation, a commission of the Institute for Public Relations.
Northwestern Mutual Best Master’s Thesis Award
Funded by a donation from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation, this program is designed to recognize graduate study and scholarship in public relations. The winner receives a $2,000 cash grant. The winner’s faculty advisor receives a $1,000 cash grant.
Social Science of Social Media Case Study Competition
Led by the IPR Social Science of Social Media Research Center, the competition invites practitioners, educators and students to submit original case studies concerning the use, effects and importance of social media on the practice of public relations. Cash prizes totally $1,750 are awarded to the winning groups, and selected entries are housed on the SSSM site and promoted via academic and practitioner channels.
