Institute Special Award at EUPRERA 2010 Congress
A 500 Euro prize for the best new research will be awarded at the Euprera 2010 Congress (European Public Relations Education and Research Association). The Congress will be held at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, from September 23-26, 2010.
This year's theme is, "Communication in a changing society; dynamics, risks and uncertainty."
The special award is being funded by the Institute for Public Relations and presented by the Commission on Global Public Relations Research together with Euprera. Accepted papers will explicitly address:
- Similarities and differences regarding best practices around the globe.
- How cultural factors affect best practices in various cultural contexts.
- The underlying, enduring principles of best practices that transcend national and cultural boundaries.
- How the digital revolution in communication technology (including social media) shapes practices globally and how do practitioners measure the impact of this technology.
