2010 Big Apple Award
For Best Use of Research, Measurement and Evaluation
The Institute for Public Relations answers the need for evidence and accountability in our profession by fueling the science beneath the art of public relations.
The Big Apple Awards, presented by the New York Chapter of PRSA, honor outstanding public relations programs that have achieved excellence by creating campaigns that solve problems, change opinions and create opportunities.
Each year, the Institute partners with the New York Chapter of PRSA to recognize standout efforts in the public relations programs that integrate research, measurement and evaluation into practitioners' professional work. Winners in each category of the Big Apple Awards are eligible to receive the "Best Use of Research, Measurement and Evaluation Award" presented by the Institute for Public Relations.
"In the business world, our companies and clients demand and deserve accountability. Our recommendations need to be based on data-driven insights and public relations strategies need to deliver precisely measured results," says Robert W. Grupp, Institute President and CEO. "These winning entries are great examples of research that is used to guide action and prove the value of public relations."
